Lord Jesus, Master of both light and darkness, shower your Holy Spirit upon our Christmas preparations.
We, who have so much on our plates, seek out calm places to hear your voice every day.
We, who are worried about a lot of things, are looking forward to your arrival.
We who have been blessed in so many ways yearn for the full delight of your kingdom.
We who have heavy hearts seek the joy of your presence.
We are your people, travelling in the dark while looking for the light.
“Come, Lord Jesus!” we say to you.
