Please, Eternal Father, assist me not to lose heart. You remark that while we are wasting away on the outside, we are being regenerated on the inside every day. “For our light and transient sorrows are achieving for us an eternal splendor that far transcends them all,” you write. As a result, I prefer to focus my attention not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. I understand that what is visible is transient, whereas what is invisible is eternal. I chose to focus on my better prize, which awaits me in paradise, rather than the arduous chemotherapy I am currently through. Amen.
Lord, I put my trust in You in order for my strength to be rejuvenated. I believe that one day I shall fly like an eagle. I will not tire while I run. I’m not going to faint while walking. I put my hope in You because You see the larger picture and I know You will be exalted through my arduous chemotherapy treatment. Help me to focus on You during this difficult time. Amen.
God bless you. You have given me the instruction to be strong and bold. It’s difficult since I don’t know if chemotherapy will work, and neither do the physicians. But, Lord, You know everything. As a result, I take comfort in knowing that You are in command and that nothing surprises You. I won’t be afraid because You’ll accompany me. You will never abandon or abandon me. Amen.
Matthew 11:28-29 (KJV)
God Almighty, I come to You as a tired and troubled individual. Chemotherapy has depleted me physically, emotionally, and even spiritually. But I came to You because You are where I will find rest. I choose to take Your yoke upon myself in order to learn from You, since You are gentle and humble in heart, and I will find peace for my soul. Father, thank You for being the source of my peace. Amen.
Dear Lord, according to the text, You sent out Your word and cured them. You dug them out of the ground. Father, hear my screams and bring me back from the dead! I put my trust in You, but I also believe that You will save me. Chemotherapy can assist, but only You, Lord, can save me. You are the only one who can make me whole again. Have Your divine will be done within me so that I can be at peace once more. Amen.
Lord, even the hairs on my head are counted by You, God of Creation. You know everything there is to know about me. I beseech You to fill me with peace. I proclaim that I will not be terrified since I am more valuable than many sparrows, and they, too, survive each day. Lord, I beseech You to grant me peace. I beseech You for my praise. I beseech You for my survival. I entrust my chemotherapy to You. Amen.
Beautiful One, I call on You today, and I believe You will respond. Today, my soul’s strength will grow as a result of Your hearing and responding to me. My chemotherapy will not empty me today. You will lift me up in heaven today. Allow Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Father, I thank You in advance for Your divine power. Amen.
2 Cor. 1:3–4
Blessed be the God and Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts me in all my affliction, so that I can comfort those who are in any affliction with the consolation with which I have been comforted by God. Lord, I pray that during my treatment, I would be able to console other patients in the same way that You have comforted me. Blessed Father, be with me. Amen.
Awesome God, I am confident that He who began a good work in me will complete it on the Day of Jesus Christ. Father, I know You have written and counted my days. I also know that You have a plan for me that will come to fruition within those days, and I declare that this plan will come to fulfillment. I pray that chemotherapy does not prevent me from doing and being what You have called me to do and be. Amen.
Holy God, I am saved because of my faith in You. Hope that can be seen is not hope. Who can hope for what he sees? But if I wish for something I don’t see, I wait patiently for it. Father, I am anxiously awaiting my cancer recovery. I beseech You to grant me divine power to finish the race and survive this voyage. Lord, I praise You for who You are and what You have done. Amen.

Thank you, Lord. Because You are my God, I will serve You for the rest of my life. I will serve You, and then, according to Your word, You will bless my food and drink and remove disease from my midst. I am looking forward to the end of my illness. I am anticipating the success of my chemotherapy. I know You are my healer and my God. I am aware that You are in command. Amen.
One who is righteous, I see now that You are He, and there is no other god save You. O Lord, heal me, and I will be healed. You are my praise, therefore save me, and I will be saved. Because You are the one God, I put my trust in You in this time of despair. Cancer and chemotherapy are significant issues, but I serve a significant God who sits high and lifted up, and whose train fills the temple. Amen.
